When a store is being run for quite some time, you get a pretty long list of coupons on the backend. At that point, organizing your coupons become necessary. Categorizing coupons in WooCommerce is a very helpful way to organize your coupons.
In WooCommerce there is currently no feature to categorize coupons, so we have added this small but very useful feature in Smart Coupons that allows categorizing of coupons.
Using coupon categories, users can easily filter and view coupons belonging to a particular category.

- Go to: Marketing > Coupons > Manage Coupon categories
- Add coupon name, slug & description to quickly create a new coupon category

To associate a coupon to a coupon category, simply select the category or ‘add new coupon category’ while creating/editing the coupon.

To filter coupons based on category, simply click on the ‘category name’ under Marketing > Coupons > Coupons(tab) > Coupon Categories
