Using WooDojo

How to Use WooDojo

The main WooDojo settings screen has a simple interface, and gives you a basic filter to find features by type. When not filtering products by type they will all be listed on one page separated out by their type.

Activating Features ↑ Back to top

To activate a feature simply click the “Activate” button for that feature on the feature listing page. Some features may require you to login with your WooCommerce.com account.

De-Activating Features ↑ Back to top

To de-activate a feature simply click the “Deactivate” button where the “Activate” button originally was located. This will disable the feature for the website, however all of your settings will be preserved.

Logging In ↑ Back to top

Some features will require that you have at least a free WooCommerce.com account. Simply log in with your WooCommerce.com username and password when enabling these features.

Leaving WooDojo logged in will not allow other users access to your WooCommerce.com account.

Accessing Feature Settings ↑ Back to top

Once you have activated a feature to access any of it’s settings you will need to look under the primary WooDojo menu item. You may need to refresh your page, but any feature you have activated that has options to setup will be listed here. You can then click on the feature name to view it’s available settings.

What is WooDojo? ↑ Back to top

WooDojo is a collection of new and classic Woo features that can easily be installed on your WordPress website with a single click of the mouse. Rather than all of the functionality of a theme being built right into the theme, WooDojo will allow you to have the power of Woo added to any theme you use. WooDojo is also fully compatible with all current Woo themes, and can greatly enhance their capabilities.

To install WooDojo you will need to go to the WooDojo landing page and click the “Download WooDojo for Free” link to get started.

What is the difference between a bundled feature and a downloadable feature? ↑ Back to top

A bundled feature is already downloaded with the base WooDojo plugin and is available immediately for all websites, including ones without website access. A downloadable feature is one that will only be able to be downloaded from WooCommerce.com and requires at least a free WooCommerce.com account. This will require that your web server be able to access the internet, at least temporarily to download these features.

WooCommerce and WooSidebars while stand alone plugins are still Woo products, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to use them. Simply install WooDojo once, and install all required features with a click of the mouse.
