Why is there a subscription item in my WooCommerce menu?

With WooCommerce 6.6, a new “Subscription” item in the WooCommerce admin menu to offer eligible merchants to use the built-in subscriptions functionality of WooCommerce Payments.

  • The following plugins are not installed at all:
    • WooCommerce Subscriptions
    • WooCommerce Payments
    • Sumo Subscriptions
    • YITH Subscriptions
    • Subscripto
    • Subscriptions For WooCommerce
  • Store allows tracking under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → WooCommerce.com → Enable tracking
  • Should be based in the US
  • Store should be at least 6 months old
  • Store should have at least 1 order in the last 30 days

To remove the “Subscription” item from the WooCommerce admin menu, click on the “No thanks” button and this subscription item will disappear.

If you want to bring it back, go to https:/yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php (replace ‘yoursite’ with your site’s domain) and update the option `woocommerce-wcpay-subscriptions_dismissed to “no”
