Product Catalog with working Filter by Category

Ability for a filter that filters products by category on the ‘home’ Product Catalog template (aka what Woo/WP uses as the shop page). Currently, there is a product filters block that has ‘categories’, but it does not work with the default ‘product collection’ block which is the foundational gallery of products in the Product Catalog template.
