Fixed Expiry Dates for Woocommerce Memberships

I run a site that sells membership access to students by academic level. As such, memberships must end by the end of an academic year say, 31 December regardless of the date they are individually activated.

In addition, I’ll still need to be able to manually change the expiry dates of individual members in the event of an extension request.

Hope this feature will be included in the near future.

Edit: Does anyone know if Sensei support this feature?

This is correct! They should look into this so I can continue with my subscription.

I also need this feature asap! My need is December 31st for fixed ending date of the membership plan. The price to be paid will be the same whenever membership is paid (fixed application fee). Is there a way to bulk editing all memberships to change the expiration date to a given date ?

We use a memberships model where the memberships are tied to a calendar year, regardless of when the user purchases the membership.

A welcome feature would be the ability to set an end date for a membership to a specific date, rather than a relative time after purchase.

Definitely the radar for Memberships, but in the meantime, this plugin may help out: https://github.com/jeanyoungkim/empire-tri-club-memberships

Yes, same here. I’m using memberships to control members of a Mardi Gras Krewe; memberships expire day after Mardi Gras on any given year, regardless of when the membership is purchased.

Version 1.7 is available now with this feature! You can read more here: https://www.skyverge.com/blog/woocommerce-memberships-1-7/

I really need this feature for a 3-day conference member package. The Woo Ninja suggested a work around that really isn’t possible. I have to give a 1 month membership, but expire the content when the true expiration date ends (between when they bought the membership and when the conference ends during a 2-week open cart period). So they will still be a member, but the content they paid for ends at the end of the conference.

I am also very interested in this feature. Trying to find a way to work around it myself. We need to have customized dates that the memberships end on, no matter when they are purchased.
