MailChimp integration with WooCommerce Memberships

Enable Membership plans to sync with a corresponding MailChimp list (or segment) to make it easier to communicate with members.

It looks like the WooCommerce Mailchimp plugin will add people to a list on checkout, but does NOT currently support syncing members over to the list.

This may be possible by cobbling together third-party plugins, but ideally would have a Woo-native way to make it happen, as being able to email members is essential!

This is most request feature for mailchimp and woo membership. Please do it fast that we can update mailchimp segments based on status of woo membership

Also the need to add members to Mailchiimp at the (free) user registration stage, not just when completing an order. Thank you.

When you use an autoresponder like mailchimp your members may unsubscribe from the list, as of such you will end up loosing you ways to communicate with your members.

So I don’t think this is a great idea. WishList member has the option to send an email to members, and I think this should be an integrated feature of the plugin instead.

This feature is critical, I didn’t realise it wasn’t even syncing our memberships to MailChimp. Inactive members have been receiving all of our member-only emails! When will this be implemented?

  5. Keelin says:

Our member benefit is access to emails we send from MailChimp. This feature is critical to us. We would love to make the switch for so many reasons but this is a deal-breaker.

I’d love this feature too! Very important!

We could really use this as well!

I would absolutely love this function! We need it so badly in our organization. Would really free up time.

would be great to update on status change!!!!

This can be done with AutomateWoo. You can create a trigger when a membership gets created or that status gets changed that will add a contact to MailChimp and/or update a custom field associated with the contact.

I agree! I’m just in the process of trying to sync membership subscription levels with separate segments in my mailchimp mailing list and having a hard time. It would be a very valuable feature as far as I can see!

Agreed. It looks like Memberpress is going to win here because the membership list is synced with MailChimp. It’s great that they can sign up through WooCommerce, but it’s vital to be able to send out emails to active members.
