When setting up your WooCommerce-powered store, there are two important considerations (among the many others) which store owners often place at the bottom of their to-do list; how to differentiate your store from the rest of the pack and how to target your specific niche.

    I’m interested in testing these extensions and see how they perform in real life 🙂

    If anyone is interested I’ve also developed an extension for WooCommerce that allows to increase revenue in WooCommerce shops and I would like very much to get feedback people running stores. It’s a solution for follow up e-mails and SMS that I’ve seen works pretty well to prevent cart abandonment,

    I was waiting for “Black Friday” to buy the Sensei Teaching plugin which even after the discount is still very highly priced ($149 before discount). Then on top of that the yearly fee is a definite show stopper.

    I know you need to support your products which is why you have a yearly fee but there are many other WordPress markets that doesn’t have a yearly renewal fee.

    I personally use to buy many plugins, even just to try them out. Some worked and some didn’t but I didn’t worry about it to much because they where affordable.

    Any product, including Woocommerce plugins are definitely price driven, the cheaper they are the more you will sell. So I guess you guys just need to find the perfect price balance. I can almost guarantee that if you lower the price you will again see an increase in sales which must have gone down…

    I personally go the Codecanyon for plugins where they are still affordable, in fact I spend more money at Codecanyon than at Woothemes since the drastic price increase at Woothemes. Believe me you are driving customers away because of price, you need to adjust to the economy.

    With that said WooCommerce is still the best eCommerce solution for WordPress. Keep up the good work and keep down the prices for more sales.

      I think we have documented the reasoning for our price levels enough on our blog so I suggest reading our blog posts to understand why we needed to make these changes to become sustainable.

      If you are building an e-commerce site, we want to make sure you can rely on us sticking around, and that our business and products are available 5-10 years down the line.

    Is it possible to add discount option to “Payment Gateway based Fees”???
    Sometimes youre interested in one payment provider than in another and ready to give some discount for paying with it.
