This is a follow-up post to our last post Important information for all WooThemes Customers

This last week has been our biggest tests to date. The whole team has been working day and night to get as much information as possible from our security breach. We’ve been in direct contact with customers who have been affected, and we can’t thank you enough for being so positive and supportive, even though some of you have had to cancel your credit cards and file claims with your financial institutions.

Investigations are still ongoing with many parties involved. However, we believe in being as transparent as possible, and we want to update you all on what we do know so far, and what steps we have taken to make sure this never happens again.

Themes cleaning for 2014

Our goal at Woo, this year, is to re-visit our back catalog of themes and add some much-needed updates, including support for all of our plugins (Sensei, Testimonials, Features, etc) and updating the designs. Before we embark on this process, it is important that we are able to prioritise the products which are actively being used by our customers. This includes retiring products which are no longer popular with our customers.

Case Study: Stavanger Golf Club

When I was asked to redesign the website for my local golf club a couple of months ago, I knew it was time to update the theme too. I wanted to create the new design using a child theme, and the obvious choice for a parent theme was Canvas. Canvas is our most versatile theme that works great for quickly putting together a website with a child theme.
