    What didn't you like about this product?

    You can not add buttons within the emails youre sending. So a call to action button like "go back to cart" can not be created. The subject line automatically populates into the header of the email. You can't change this. so your subject will always be your header. You can't add a footer section. You can't make seperate section to the email. Overal it's a terrible plugin.

    How could it be improved?

    Don’t purposly add problems or leave features out just so you can tell customers to hire a developer.

    Email follow ups don't work with variable subscriptions. I reported this bug and they confirmed it but they put my ticket on pause. Not sure when they wanna fix the bug.

    What is great about this product?

    With the latest update, Follow-Ups also works with variable product purchases. As of yesterday, we have so many more follow-ups being sent and are super excited. We've already seen a huge impact with simple product follow up emails but the majority of our business is variable products. I believe this plugin is essential for EVERY WooCommerce store. It is so complete now and so easy to use.

    How could it be improved?

    The most recent update is the one I’ve been waiting for. I can’t think of any further improvements. It’s really awesome!

    What is great about this product?

    Don't usually leave reviews but I was concerned about several negative reviews here but bought this plugin anyway because I had used a previous version on other websites and it worked well for me. I had no issues with this plugin. Worked as promised and I've set up an abandoned cart email and several re engagement emails. I've tested them all to make sure everything works and everything works perfectly. The plugin has an extensive list of roughly 60 differnt variables to personalize emails including things like customer name, order date, cart contents. You can set up emails to send minutes, days, or months after a particular trigger. You can create and email coupons when certain events happen. Lots of options for keeping in contact with customers to bring them back. Make sure you read the documentation that has the list of variables. Only a few are listed in the plugins

    include a pull down or other list of all variables in the plugin interface.

    Email templates are written terrible. Not user friendly and require a lot of changes to make them usable.

    How could it be improved?

    Make templates that are plug n play. That’s literally the point of buying extensions from Woo, so you don’t have to spend a bunch of time editing/writing code. This could be done with something similar to the storefront powerpack extension which allows you to easily design to your liking in an matter of minutes and see the changes live. I also use the email customizer by Kadence which makes it a breeze for standard woo emails. Why follow-ups doesn’t allow the use of these is a huge failure. I got a refund and will spend money with another developer.

    What didn't you like about this product?

    This extension clearly needs an revisiting by product team and needs to be tested since most of the things doesn’t work the way it should. When you create order transaction mails with Follow Up Emails, it simply doesn’t add order meta to the order which is even standard WooCommerce email does. Abandoned cart mails:They trigger simply doesn’t work. The compete order url doesn’t simply displayed. Opened support ticket, WooCommerce first level support team confirmed it. Developers simply don’t fix. When custom End-point is used, the {unsubsribe url} simply doesn’t apply changes. Opened support ticket, first level support team confirmed it. Developers simply don’t fix. When importing previous orders to apply newly defined follow up mail, there is no fail safe mechanism, the emails simply queued immediately without allowing you final check which orders are imported and to see if there are orders to be deleted in that queue. (well if you could remember to put Follow ups into staging mode, you are ok then. But if you could remember ) Their signup shortcode asks for first name, last name and email. The documentation misguides about how you can remove first name, last name area. The only thing you can do, to put extra css into your custom css (display: none). And triggers exclusions section is interesting. You can exclude a trigger category base but not product base. And the fixing time of developers takes too much time even for the confirmed bugs. This approach is interesting since customer subscribe to this product by paying money. So the time that waiting for the bugs becomes another burden to customer.

    How could it be improved?

    Some product manager or responsible person could test this extension throughly, he/she should use as a customer not like a developer and then through real – world scenarios, they can fix it.

    I've only just started to use this product and look around. In 1 day of installing it and setting up some test emails, the reporting has already been incredible. I am simply loving this and can't wait to see where it takes our business

    What didn't you like about this product?

    It doesn't work as advertised. It's advertised as the ability to send or schedule emails and to generate coupon codes. I reported the bug in 4.7.0 where you could not schedule an email without also sending it now. I was berated over this until someone bothered to read what I wrote and test it for themselves. That issue has been fixed in 4.7.2. The new issue is that coupons generated via the Follow Up Email Extension do not show up /anywhere/ that the user can access, unlike any other coupon or store credit generated by woo. I was told this was operating as designed and I would need to submit a feature request -- one that I'm sure would not gain the same priority as a bug. How can it be an expectation of a user purchasing this 100$ plugin that coupons it generates would not be available for the user to see like any other coupon generated by woo? This is a woo premium extension, not some 3rd party mess.

    How could it be improved?

    Not every organization moves at the same speed – allowing refunds past 60-days would be nice. Don’t pass blame to your merchant provider either as every one I’ve ever worked with allows refunds to anyone at anytime. I doubt this limitation is due to their systems/processes vs your own.

    This premium woo extension should do what it claims to do, and meet the expectations being set. To say this means that woo has set an expectation that store credits/coupons are visible and accessible to the end user. However, somehow this same expectation does not meet with the Follow Up Email Extension roadmap – why would an end user believe this functionality is any different than your core product??

    kinda works, not well for subscriptions though

    How could it be improved?

    it’s a disaster for working with subscriptions, especially if your store has made changes to subscription products after someone has ordered them. it’ll work 80-90% of the time, and then it’ll spit out random dates to send the emails for the rest. I’d suggest using an external system like Mailchimp or something
