Fixed Payment-Plan Full Payment Dates
Fixed Payment Plan Full-Payment Deadline Dates:
For merchants who sell a dated event or a dated high end travel tour (like us), or any service with a fixed payment deadline, we need to receive payment in full by a certain set date, and it isn’t always 6 months out from date of purchase. For example, we sell an annual travel tour to India each February and need full payments by January 4. For those who are registering and paying deposits in June, they would have a 6 month payment plan. Someone who pays deposit and started a payment plan in October would have a three month payment plan. The monthly payment would be less if they start payment plan earlier, and more if they start later. We need full payment to pay vendors in India. Make sense? Thank you!

How this isn’t possible blows my mind. Setting up a new coasching program, bought the subscription extension, and I can’t specify a date. If someone choose the two-payments option, then they should pay the half right then (or deposit in woocomm terms) and then I specify the date they are auto-charged (second week of program), but the program may not start for a month from their initial payment. UGH
I agree this is needed. I sell tickets to events and need to setup the customer to pay an initial deposit then the balance 7 days before the event.
We are missing this crucial functionality as well. In our case, we simply need the ability to set a Remainder Due Date alongside a fixed deposit amount.

I agree with this 100%…we need people to see what they still owe and be able to just pay their balance off in full..this is not allowed in Payment Plans. it doesn’t make any sense.
