Lebelik acts as an intermediary between you and the Lebanese fashion designers you love.
Meaning “It suits you” in Arabic, Lebelik was founded in 2011 by twins and business partners, Michel and Louise Doumet, in New York.
The brand was created out of deep affection for what is real, authentic, and raw after Louise was approached by random women in the streets of New York, asking her about her clothes and accessories – all Lebanese creations.
The twins’ shared aim is to help designers from Lebanon share their work with people around the world, building a community of fashion lovers who come together on a single platform showcasing Lebanese design.
Their vision: that Lebanese quality, fashion, and design could and should be available to everyone.
The team hand-pick items – such as clothing, accessories, bags, and shoes – from each designer, posting these collections online for customers to view and shop at their convenience. Everything from glamorous dresses and couture-inspired jackets, to casual pants and abayas is available, with free shipping in Lebanon and same-day delivery in Beirut.
From the careful selection of designers to the final wrapping of your order, Louise and her team make sure that each and every step of this digital boutique experience is a personal one.
The site is currently home to over 80 of the country’s most talented fashion designers, with around 2,500 items across a versatile range of products.
Seven years on, Lebelik is celebrating the authenticity of an entire nation – the expertise of artistry techniques, and the unity of patterns, textures, colors, and trends.
