The benefits of using Amazon Pay

Keep customers engaged – from cart to finish

37% percent of customers abandon a site because they’re asked to create an account.[3] With Amazon Pay, there’s no need to create a new account or enter new information on your site.

Reduce chargebacks and fraudulent transactions

The Amazon brand is a proven winner of customer trust.[4] Our advanced fraud protection is the same technology used on Amazon.com

Grow your audience with co-marketing initiatives

The cost of acquiring new customers has increased by over 50% over the last five years.[5] With Amazon Pay co-marketing programs, tap into Amazon’s customer base of 200m+ global Prime customers.

Leverage the latest technology that customers love

Benefit from Amazon’s ecommerce innovations, enable features like recurring payments, let customers shop with their voice using Alexa, and much more.

“The two main benefits we’ve noticed with Amazon Pay are an improved customer experience and a measurable increase in sales.”

Do not install this Amazon Pay app. Since September 2, 2025, it has been a catastrophic failure, turning our store into a buffet for criminals. An astronomical 97.56% of all orders from this app have been fraudulent. This isn't a glitch; it's a total collapse that is functionally a welcome mat for thieves. We are hemorrhaging money from fees and lost products. Pleading for help from the vendor and Amazon has yielded zero meaningful answers or solutions. They are silent while we absorb staggering financial losses. It is criminal that WordPress allows this app in its marketplace. Our only "solution" is to manually cancel an endless tide of fraudulent orders, which is its own kind of prison. Th...

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the increase in fraudulent orders since installing Amazon Pay for WooCommerce version 2.6.0. We’re sorry to hear about this issue and want to help resolve it quickly. To better understand the situation, could you please provide more details about the fraudulent orders? Specifically: What patterns or signs indicate these orders are fraudulent (e.g., unusual IP addresses, mismatched billing/shipping details, or high-value orders)? How many fraudulent orders have occurred since September 29, 2025, and are there any common factors among them? Have you noticed any errors or unusual behavior in the plugin logs or WooCommerce dashboard related to...

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the plugin and seeing prompts for an auto-renewal payment. Let me clarify that our plugin is completely free to install and use—there are no subscription fees, renewals, or payments required for its functionality. If you're encountering payment requests, these could be related to a third-party service, such as Amazon Pay, which may charge transaction fees depending on your setup. However, our plugin itself does not impose any costs. To help us resolve this quickly, could you share more details about the issues you're experiencing? Specifically: What problems are you facing with the plugin's functionality? When did th...

It works great when it wants to but there are no refined settings to customize the experience with our set up. I went through the struggle of Amazon Merchant support to talk about this issue (2 hours of my time) and they responded with a copy/paste letter that addressed a completely different issue leaving us defeated. Here's the problem: We cannot use woo automated taxes because it does not jive with the Calcurates plugin extension which assigns Fed Ex shipping rates. Our orders can't be completed because rates are supposedly unavailable. We cannot use any other shipping plugin due to warehouses shipping needs (multiple source addresses). So we're stuck with using our own tax tables. Just f...

I'm really sorry to hear that you've had such a frustrating experience. Just so you know, we’re part of a different support department, so it might be best to reach out to the right team for help with your specific issue. On another note, I believe I’ve figured out why some taxes aren’t being calculated. According to WooCommerce, even if the tax amount shows as 0.00, Automated Taxes might still be working behind the scenes. This could be related to 'tax nexus.' Essentially, you only need to collect sales tax in places where you have a tax nexus, like a physical presence or if you hit certain sales thresholds in a state. For more details, you can check out this WooCommerce documentation. As f...
