Enable your users to save and quickly select from multiple shipping and billing addresses during checkout and place the order. The ‘My Account’ functions like a personalized address book, allowing users to manage multiple addresses.
Allowing users to save and pick from multiple addresses saves their precious time and facilitates a faster checkout, thereby increasing conversions.
Address book: Simplify checkout with saved addresses
Filling in shipping and billing addresses is the most boring part of checking out and completing an order. Nobody likes to type in their address every time they buy something.
Browser autofill helps, but what about multiple addresses? Sometimes you want to ship a product to your home address or office address. Sometimes you want to give gifts to your parents, kids or friends during their birthdays or Christmas, each having their own separate addresses.
When people see their saved address during checkout, they trust the store, feel confident, and quickly complete the checkout.
Amazon uses Saved Addresses, and it’s one of the big reasons for its high conversion rate.
Saved Addresses is a simple address book plugin that gives you everything you need to achieve that: Logged-in users can add multiple shipping and billing addresses during checkout. Or pick from their previously saved addresses for shipping and billing. No need to type or copy-paste addresses anymore!
A checkout flow your customers will love, thanks to Saved Addresses for WooCommerce!Customers can manage their Saved Addresses from the My Account area
All the features you need…
Pick and manage addresses during checkout: Users can switch to any saved addresses during checkout. They can also add, edit/modify or delete addresses directly from the checkout page.
A dedicated section in My Account: Customers can modify or delete their addresses from a special section (like an address book) under “My Account”.
Mobile-optimized: No distorted fields. Users can manage addresses quickly and with ease on any device, without any disruption in their experience on the checkout page.
Default address: 80% of people use a single address 80% of the time. Your customers can choose a default address for billing/shipping address, and it will automatically be filled in during checkout.
Unlimited addresses: Users can save 3, 5, 10, or as many as they need!
No coding required: It’s simple to use, and free from customizations.
Lower cart abandonment: More users completing checkout means fewer abandoned carts… and more sales!
Best for food, travel businesses and gifting for families
Any online shopper will find saved addresses convenient, but it is more beneficial for:
People, especially the youth enjoying night out with friends at different places want food delivered to their current location.
Traveling professionals can order essentials to be delivered wherever they are.
Busy individuals can have groceries or items sent to a neighbor’s house if they’re late or away.
Students living away from home can save multiple addresses, like home, campus, or hostel, to receive packages.
Suppliers can deliver products to different warehouses on different days.
People can send gifts to their loved ones who are far away.
Elderly and non-tech people who need essentials, you can save your address to get items delivered on their behalf.
Typing addresses on small screens is irritating, but saved addresses make it easier for mobile shoppers to select one instantly.
Roadmap
Customize how addresses look on the checkout page.
Address tagging — e.g., Home, Work, etc.
More admin controls, so admins can view all saved addresses for a customer or update an address in a pending order if the customer changes their mind.
Saved Address is made by one of the most reputed WooCommerce extension development teams — StoreApps. You can trust the product, and know you’ll get excellent support and help when required.
The plugin does what it says on the tin, but it does it poorly.
It claims to be mobile-friendly, but if a customer adds more than two addresses, a drop-down appears that is hard-coded to be 500px wide. So you can’t fix that with CSS, you’d have to edit the plugin to fix it.
There’s also a ton of CSS that’s just poorly written. It might work fine with the default Storefront theme or something, but as soon as you put it in your custom design in the real world, you end up having to fix a bunch of poorly-considered decisions by the developers.
Plugins like this are the reason WooCommerce shops end up looking poorly-designed. If a little more time and thought were put into the development, it...Continua a leggere

Good Idea...Needs Work
Support is very slow and available via email only. They are helpful but egregiously slow to respond. Need to make updates to their my-address.php template in the child theme but it continues to call the file from the parent plugin folder instead. Asked for help weeks ago...documented thoroughly the things I've tried. I followed their template instructions. Still doesn't work. Also, users can't actually select from all saved addresses at checkout. Here is what they said about that on 2021-12-28: "Sorry it is not possible as of now to show all addresses but it is in our plan to give provision for the same. I'll let you know once we add it to the plugin." The plugin needs work...idea is great,...Continua a leggere

UPDATE 12th July 2021:
Again/still problems that in some cases the wrong shipping address is used (there was a bug in a previous version, which apparently somehow stored addresses with the wrong IDs/links in the database). Obviously this is an absolute deal breaker of the ONE AND ONLY main feature of the plugin, saving different addresses.
The worst part: After a detailed explanation I didn't even hear back in over 2 months. The bug seems to be fixed, but all addresses that were created during this time are still broken. And it looks like it was at least for nearly 2 months, from:
2020-12-11 - version 2.2.0
to:
2021-02-05 - version 2.2.1
Also: It is a shame that this review isn't shown publicly...Continua a leggere

Great plugin and responsive support!
Not only is this an intuitive plugin, but the developers are fantastic. We had some issues with the UI early on and they changed the plugin in response to our feedback and gave us the requested changes. Great team!

Great idea. Badly implemented. Not very intuitive.
"Bill to new address" button should be below default address (same for shipping).
Users should not be able to delete addresses from checkout page (should be done from My Account area).
If default address already exists, there is no need for the "Bill to this address" button (the check-mark is enough).
When the "Bill to new address" button is clicked it should smoothly scroll to First Name field.
After a customer adds an address there should be a save button which hides the form and shows the newly added address in the same container/div that a default address is shown in (should not have to place an order before seeing this change).
