  • Global Cart ― A single, shared cart is available across the entire Multisite network, allowing products from any store to be added seamlessly to the same cart.
  • Flexible Cart Checkout ― Choose between Single Checkout, where all cart items are processed in one designated location, or Each Store Checkout, which routes the checkout process through every site that contributes products to the cart.
  • Supported all Product Types ― All WooCommerce product types and custom-defined are supported and can be added to the global cart from any store in the network.
  • Global Reports ― Built in WooCommerce Global Reports feature give you a complete overview of performance across your entire network, using clear, easy-to-understand charts and statistics. The reports are organized into three key sections—Orders, Customers, and Stock—providing actionable insights at a glance.
  • Global Orders Interface ― To simplify order management across the network, the plugin offers a unified interface that allows superadmins—or users in any individual shop—to view and manage all network orders from a single location.
  • Global Users ― Users are managed globally, allowing the same login across all shops in the network. From any site, they can access ‘My Account’ to view all orders, regardless the checkout location.
  • WordPress and WooCommerce Compatibility ― Always verified before any new WooCommerce plugin release. This plugin has been extensively tested across multiple environments and WordPress/WooCommerce versions to ensure full compatibility. It requires no special server configuration—if WooCommerce runs on your setup, this plugin will run flawlessly.

100% Integration with WooCommerce

The plugin is fully integrated into the WooCommerce environment, adopting the same design language, layout styles, and operational framework. This deep integration ensures a seamless experience for both store owners and customers, making the plugin feel like a natural, native extension of WooCommerce rather than a separate add-on.

The Cart

The cart is maintained globally across all shops, allowing customers to add products from multiple stores without losing them. All product types—including simple, variable, grouped, or external—are fully supported.

The global cart saves time and enhances the shopping experience across the network. Cart contents can be checked out on the same page, either at a specific shop or anywhere in the network, depending on the plugin configuration.

Plugins and Themes integration

The plugin is designed to work seamlessly with virtually any WordPress/WooCommerce-compatible theme or plugin. Global Cart for WooCommerce leverages standard WooCommerce filters and actions to provide its functionality, ensuring maximum compatibility.

In rare cases where a plugin or custom code cannot fully process the cart or order content, the issue can be easily resolved using two additional filters provided by the plugin.

To guarantee smooth integration, the plugin has been thoroughly tested with a wide range of popular WooCommerce themes, ensuring reliable performance across diverse environments.

The Checkout

The checkout process is identical to the default WooCommerce checkout, with the exception that it includes all items in the cart, even products added from other shops in the network. On the checkout page, address details are automatically filled in as usual when the customer is logged in.

Depending on the selected setup, the checkout process can take place in one of the following ways:

  • On a single, specified shop
  • On any shop within the network
  • On every shop that contains at least one product in the cart

This behavior is fully controlled through the admin settings. Using a single shop as the checkout location significantly simplifies order management, as all orders are centralized on one page instead of being distributed across multiple shops in the network.

The checkout process uses the configuration of the shop where the checkout occurs. All settings—such as coupons, shipping methods, shipping classes, and related rules—are inherited from the current checkout shop.

Global Users

Users are managed globally across the entire network. This means a customer can register once and then log in using the same credentials on any shop within the multisite environment. There is no need to create separate accounts for each domain, resulting in a much smoother and more consistent user experience.

The My Account section is also available from anywhere in the network. From this central location, users can view their complete order history, regardless of which shop was used for checkout. This provides customers with a unified account experience, making it easier to manage orders, track purchases, and access account details across all shops.

Global Orders interface for easy management

To simplify the management of orders across multiple shops in the network, the plugin provides a unified orders interface accessible directly from the super admin dashboard. This centralized view aggregates all orders from every shop into a single location, eliminating the need to switch between individual sites.

The interface closely follows the look and behavior of the standard WooCommerce Orders screen, ensuring a familiar and intuitive experience. It is further enhanced with additional filters and management tools, allowing for more efficient searching, sorting, and handling of orders at scale.

The plugin fully supports WooCommerce HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage), delivering improved performance and faster order processing. At the same time, it maintains full compatibility with the traditional WooCommerce database tables, ensuring seamless operation regardless of whether HPOS is enabled on a specific shop.

Product Synchronization

Within a multisite environment, the plugin provides a powerful product replication feature that allows you to easily copy selected products from one shop to other sites across the network. Product synchronization is entirely optional and is not required for any of the plugin’s core functionality, giving you full control over how and when it is used.

When synchronization is enabled, any changes made to a parent product can be automatically propagated to all linked products in the network. This ensures consistent product data across shops, including descriptions, pricing, inventory, featured images, image galleries, downloadable files, categories, tags, shipping classes, tax classes, and more. The plugin also supports synchronized stock levels across the product hierarchy, helping maintain accurate inventory and reducing manual updates.

To further enhance flexibility, the replication process can be customized using programmable filters. These filters allow you to adjust, extend, or fine-tune how products are synchronized, making it easy to adapt the feature to your specific business requirements and workflows.

Custom Domains

Assign custom domains (TLDs) to individual shops within the network with ease. The plugin simplifies the setup and management of custom domains, requiring no additional code or technical configuration.
Alternatively, the multisite network can continue to operate using the default WordPress formats, such as subdomains or subdirectories, offering full flexibility to match your preferred setup.

Global Product Display

Display products from other shops within the network directly on a specific site using WooCommerce shortcodes. These products can be rendered using the local theme’s layout or a fully customized template, ensuring seamless visual integration.
WooCommerce shortcode attributes allow precise control over what is displayed, including target sites, product categories, search keywords, price ranges, sorting options, items per page, and more. This makes it easy to tailor product listings to specific pages, campaigns, or audiences.

Perfectly suited to an existing or new multisite environment

No additional setup is required for WordPress Multisite—the plugin works out of the box with your existing configuration. Shops can be accessed using subdomains, subdirectories, or individual custom domains without any extra adjustments.
New shops can be created, and existing ones can be modified, without affecting the current network structure or configuration, ensuring a safe and seamless management experience.

Easy to setup

The plugin works out of the box with intuitive and easy-to-follow settings, allowing you to get up and running quickly. For additional guidance, comprehensive documentation is available, along with step-by-step articles and video tutorials to help you configure and use all features with confidence.

This makes it easy to translate the plugin into any language, allowing seamless adaptation to local markets. Whether you’re targeting global or regional audiences, the plugin can be effortlessly customized to meet language and localization requirements.

Domande più comuni

What are the WordPress requirements?

The plugin requires a WordPress Multisite environment to function properly. It will not run on a standard single-site installation; see the Global Cart for Single Site instead.

Do I need special server requirements for the plugin to run?

No special server configuration is needed. The plugin is lightweight and optimized for performance, so it can run smoothly on virtually any hosting environment. As long as WooCommerce is functioning correctly on your server, Global Cart for WooCommerce will work seamlessly. This makes it compatible with shared hosting, VPS, or dedicated servers without any additional setup.

Can I use different TLD domains for my shops?

Yes! You can assign a unique custom domain (TLD) to each shop in your network, giving you full flexibility to brand each store individually. This means you are not limited to the default WordPress Multisite structure using subdomains or subdirectories. Whether you want completely separate domains for marketing purposes or to match specific regional stores, the plugin makes it easy to implement and manage multiple domains without any additional coding.

My Account page shows an error when viewed on the frontend, what can i do ?

This issue is related to the template and occurs because the default WooCommerce/Theme template cannot display orders originating from other shops in the network. Resolving this requires adding just two lines of code to the template. For step-by-step instructions and the exact code snippet, please refer to this article, which guides you through the fix. Once applied, the My Account page will correctly display all orders across the network.
