I love the idea that I can print USPS labels right in my WooCommerce dashboard and it pulls the address from the order – however, some orders require additional insurance to be added and this is not an option within WooCommerce, neither is requiring a signature, etc. Some of the basic “add services” from the post office would be nice if they could be added within WooCommerce for the ultimate streamlined back end shipping experience.

I agree! Adding features like additional insurance and signature requirements would offer greater flexibility and peace of mind for both sellers and customers. Your suggestion is valuable and could greatly improve the efficiency of WooCommerce’s shipping capabilities. Just as a painter uses various hues to enhance their artwork and bring out its full potential, incorporating additional shipping options would allow WooCommerce users to tailor their shipping process to meet the specific needs of each order.
This would be fantastic, I love woocommerce shipping but because we are now shipping valuable goods no insurance is a deal breaker. Plenty of solutions out there.
Please for the love of god do this.
It is very convenient to be able to print the label in WooCommerce, but the majority of my packages need additional insurance. Please fix this problem. Thanks!
Wow. Lisa started this Sept. 2019, and still not fixed. Hmm…
This is a standard option at the USPS site and locations themselves, and should be something we can add through the USPS Shipping Method app as well, especially as we are paying to use it.
Agreed as well. You can add insurance at the Post Office, on USPS.com and on Paypal. This should be something that is available as we ship out expensive items and need extra insurance.
Agreed!!! Please move this up on the list!
