After setting up Help Scout Integration for WooCommerce, you can view all of your tickets, queries and customer feedback in one place. Help Scout’s great UI and effective tools allow you to easily manage, reply to and update conversations. The end result is a smooth customer service experience for the customer and the store owner.

Note: As of August 2020, you can configure only one mailbox ID for Help Scout, and once set, you should not change it to another. Else, it will give an error as the other account won’t recognize the customers associated with the first account. We are currently working on this and will update you soon about it.

    It's been ok when it's worked, but the developers seem slow to respond to changes within the WooCommerce space. As a recent example, Woo finally retired the legacy API in Oct 2023, although it had been dead for years prior to this. However, this plugin in July 2024 still relies on the legacy API to pull the WooCommerce order data into Help Scout. Sure the basic plugin functionality works, but it's not 100% functional unless you enable compatibility mode in HPOS. That's ok short term, but we've been waiting for an update on this, and it's now 4 months since the last one, and we're now at the point where we're just going to throw in the towel on Help Scout and move to another help desk.       Hi, We released full support for HPOS in April 2023. We Legacy API support support was also removed March 2024. These were both before the removal of the Legacy API by WooCommerce in June 2024.     Basic functionality is left broken for months
    The support seems like they might be helpful, but features that are basic to the plugin are left broken for months without a fix. The button for starting a conversation from an order does not work and confuses customers.

    A great plugin with great support!

    Doesn't work as advertised and support is not great
    The promise of WooCommerce Help Scout is enticing but the actual fulfillment of that promise has yet to be made. There are some aspects that are working well, but for the most part, some of the key components have never worked as expected or at all and I'm on a second round of support requests with no answers after a week. The first request from some months back kind of fell out of my plate and maybe the developer's support team lost interest as well, but the primary issue still remains. No data from WooCommerce, such as order number and link and amount are syncing into Help Scout.     Terrible plugin, littered with bugs, incompetent developers
    We've been using this plugin for years on two large websites. The code is terrible and almost every release has bugs that we have to identify, fix, and then share the solution with the plugin developers. Bugs range from small notices/warnings littering our debug.log, all the way to ones that cause subscription renewals to fail or ones that display Json code on the front-end and break the page template. All those bugs are caused solely by the plugin and can be reproduced on a vanilla installation, so they are not in any way related to our other plugins or theme. Its features are ok, but we still had to extend it so we can get the helpscout tickets showing on the user profile on admin.

Yet you have used it on two large websites for years, so the rating seems unjustified. We have recently addressed your specific concerns and made adjustments accordingly.     Integrates very well with helpscout v3.1
    This makes managing customer orders even easier when communicating with our customer service team and the customers directly. Support is also very good. An essential part of our business.

    Customer was banned by us due to racially offensive and inappropriate communications with our team, as reported to Automattic in Slack. We do not condone this sort of behaviour, either professionally or personally. This review followed notice to customer of ban.

    Doesn't work, lacking functionality (not multi language, not able to disable what's not needed or a security threat) and support did not try to help (even after I gave them admin credentials). Don't buy it

      The plugin works fine. This review is based on the customer not immediately getting the features they requested. We consider all feature requests seriously, especially for future versions of the plugin.

    The integration into my admin dashboard is great. Being able to open tickets with users from the woocommerce orders screen, but also the comment screen was a nice touch. Everything works as it should and the setup instructions are easy to follow. If you use Help Scout and WooCommerce you should be using this plugin.
    I haven’t seen any need for improvement. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it well.
