It would be ideal that after scanning a product the POS will verify the inventory is truely there. There are many instances where the cache on the register is outdated because an online sale sold the item after the register was opened.
A syncing process to sync the diff of the cache and online inventory could curb this, but ideally a quick check with the WooCommerce API to validate the QTY would be great.
