Split Orders

Hello,

We are using the split order plugin in combination with Sequential Order Numbers Pro so that our split orders share the same order number. This works well, but we are still lacking some kind of a link between these order. Would it be possible to add a group option, like a master order number that would group just orders together? In that case, when we would split order 18688 for instance, we would end up with 18688-1 and 18688-2 as child orders (the actual orders really), and some grouping entity that would be 18688 and be considered the master order?
