You should send PDF invoices via email to make life easier for your customers. Logging into a website to get an invoice is a hassle, and makes it difficult to either a) have someone else do bookkeeping as they’d require the login or b) automate some bookkeeping tasks (e.g. gmail has an api which can be used to download attachments, which then can be used to upload to accounting software)
Thanks!

Sending PDF invoices via email greatly simplifies life for your customers, as it eliminates the need to log into a website to access invoices. This not only makes bookkeeping easier for others who may need access, but also allows for automation, such as using Gmail’s API to download attachments and upload them directly to accounting software. For example, just like checking Chick-fil-A menu prices https://menuswithpricesincanada.com/chick-fill-a-menu-prices-in-canada/ in Canada online via this link makes ordering easier without visiting the restaurant, emailing PDF invoices streamlines financial processes for your clients.
For reference, the Booster.IO plugin offers this functionality, along with a host of others that WooCommerce should include by default.
Extend with XML formats (e-invoice). PDF invoices will become obsolete.
