WooCommerce Subscriptions

Some payment gateways such as GoCardless and Paypal have minimum charges.

For example, GoCardless is minimum £1.

If the subscription is, for example, £15 per month, and subscriptions are synchronised to 1st of the month, and a subscription is started on the 31st month, then the first pro-rated payment is < £1 (roughly 50p) This parent order (and therefore the subscription sign up) fails without clear error to the customer (or the admin!). Subscriptions should have the option to push payments below a certain level to the next subscription payment, therefore, in the example above, the actual pro-rated line item is pushed to the first renewal order, which becomes 2 line items (the first renewal @£15, and the pro-rated parent payment @50p)
