WooCommerce Shipping

As of March 15th, 2023, WooCommerce Shipping requires that the origin address (STORE ADDRESS) contain the shipper’s phone number. This is a USPS and federal government requirement in identifying the individual(s) responsible for shipping a package on behalf of the organization they represent. We must register each user that prints a shipping label through WooCommerce Shipping.

Since this is required moving forward, there should be a Phone Number field in the General Settings Store Address in the WooCommerce dashboard.

This is a larger issue, because when I am trying to generate Shipping Labels from my ipAD or iPHONE WOO APP, there is no message that tells me I need to put in a phone number. It simply generates a message that says “No Shipping Methods Available..”

The only way I realized it was a phone number issue was scouring the support forum.

Please let me know when this can be a fix, or I will take my clients all to Shopify, as they have a simpler shipping label process at this point.
