AutomateWoo

If there was a trigger for order/customer/subscription custom field changed/added/deleted we could almost build triggers ourselves. It would also make AutomateWoo extendable to work with something like Advanced Custom Forms and we could easily build workflow button triggers.

For example, we could then create an Advanced Custom Fields select/button group field that on select/click (and then post/order/subscription update) saves a value to a custom meta field which would then trigger the workflow to run. This would be helpful in scenarios where AutomateWoo is used to replace the standard WooCommerce order emails which means the WooCommerce default ‘resend order email’ buttons no longer work. If we could trigger workflows when a custom meteafield is added or updated, this would allow us to easily build our own custom button trigger.
