When a cart only contains virtual products I do not want to show the Delivery Date input field, or have it Auto Select First Date and that metadata be passed to the order details.
Right now on my store if someone orders a virtual product (such as a course) then they are getting a delivery date on the order details email which is confusing.

This feature has now been completed. You can enable it in:
Settings → Hide Delivery Time Slots for Non-Shippable Products
When activated, all delivery options will be disabled automatically for carts that contain only virtual or non-shippable products.
