Prévention des fraudes

Votre programme de parrainage de clients doit intégrer des moyens de prévention des fraudes. Notre module WooCommerce Refer A Friend dispose déjà de quelques règles anti-fraude :

  • Dans le cas où l’adresse IP du parrain correspond à celle du client : le parrain sera marqué comme un potentiel fraudeur et l’approbation automatique sera bloquée. Le fait que les adresses IP puissent correspondre ne signifie pas toujours qu’il s’agit d’un parrainage frauduleux. En effet, des collègues de travail utilisant la même adresse IP peuvent aussi accéder à votre boutique.
  • Correspondance des cookies : un cookie est ajouté au navigateur du parrain. S’il est détecté, le parrain ne pourra pas utiliser de coupon de parrainage. En cas de correspondance, le coupon n’est pas utilisable.
  • Correspondance des adresses e-mail : lors de l’utilisation d’un coupon de parrainage, l’adresse e-mail de facturation est contrôlée afin de déterminer si elle a déjà été utilisée précédemment pour passer des commandes. En cas de correspondance, le coupon n’est pas utilisable.

What is the difference between coupon based and link based referrals?

The two campaign types decide who gets rewarded. A coupon-based campaign rewards both sides: the friend receives a discount coupon, and the advocate earns store credit for each successful referral. A link-based campaign rewards only the advocate, who shares a unique link rather than offering the friend a discount. Does Refer A Friend include fraud prevention?

Yes. Refer A Friend includes several fraud rules out of the box to help keep your program fair. Flagged referrals are held back from automatic approval so you can review them. You can also restrict a referral coupon to the invited email address only, so codes cannot be passed around beyond the intended recipient.

    For all the generated coupons it says "Your coupon is not valid. It may have expired." But the coupon expiration is set to unlimited. On the referrals section I do see that the expiration is not unlimited but 2 years after today date. BUT it still refuse to work.

    Feature needed
    It is good but there is one major flaw. And that is when someone refers a friend it only asks for the referal's email address and not their name. Why this is important, is that there is no follow up with that person, so I like to add them to a mailing list to keep them updated of new services that I offer every week. If I do not know their name, I cannot email them. I need to say "Dear So and so" I need their name to do so. I need their first name and last name. If you add this I will give you 5 stars

    Doesn't Work Right
    After using this plugin for years, I noticed the last couple months (may have been happening longer, but I just noticed) it's been giving people free subscription renewals. If they have a balance of credit, say $5, it's 1) not deducting the credit once applied 2) crediting the full amount of the order and not just the $5 - no telling how much money I've lost due to this.
