WooCommerce Subscriptions 8.8.0: one-click fixes in Health Check and fewer duplicate subscriptions

This release adds one-click fixes to the Subscriptions Health Check tool, closes several gaps that let duplicate subscriptions slip through to orders, and resolves a cart error during subscription switching.

The Subscriptions Health Check tool now does more than flag problems — it fixes them. When the tool surfaces a flagged subscription, you can apply the recommended fix right from the results: switch it to automatic renewal, or process the renewal now. Before this, the tool told you what was wrong and left the fix to you to track down and resolve manually.

WooCommerce ShipStation 5.1.0: the shipping method customers pick at checkout now flows straight to ShipStation

The shipping option your customer chooses at checkout now carries through to ShipStation automatically, so the label you print matches the service they paid for. This release also adds an opt-in WordPress.com connection setting and steadier authentication behind the scenes.

When a shopper picks a shipping option at checkout, WooCommerce ShipStation now remembers that choice and sends it to ShipStation as the order's planned shipping method. The label you create matches the service the customer actually paid for — no more cross-checking each order by hand to work out how it should ship. This helps most if you offer...

Import and export bookings in bulk with WooCommerce Bookings 3.6.0

Manage bookings in bulk with CSV import and export, get reminder emails and auto-completions firing at the right local time, and set your own customer "Bookings" page slug.

You can now download every booking as a CSV file and create or update bookings in bulk by uploading one — no more clicking through bookings one at a time. Export when you need to report, audit, or move your data; import when you'd rather make your edits in a spreadsheet. The importer recognizes plain-language column labels and detects them automatically on upload, so there's no rigid format to match by hand.

MailPoet 5.30.0 adds ready-to-send automation emails and ties email campaigns to WooCommerce revenue

MailPoet 5.30.0 ships pre-written content for six common automations, records which campaign drove each order, and makes large subscriber lists faster to search and manage.

Launch automations without writing the emails first. Six automation templates now come with ready-to-send email content built in — post-purchase, birthday, win-back, inactive-customer win-back, review follow-up, and reviewer rewards. Open one and the email is already written and designed, so you can turn on an automation in minutes instead of starting from a blank canvas. Post-purchase emails can also recommend products based on what the customer actually bought — cross-sells of that item, or products that share...

Collect accurate birthdays at checkout with AutomateWoo — Birthdays 1.4.0

This release closes the gaps that quietly shrink your birthday list — a missing day-31 option in the checkout selector, plus a new warning when account creation is off — and lets teammates review the settings without edit access.

Customers born on the 31st of a month can now pick their real birthday at checkout. The day selector was missing the 31st, so those shoppers either entered the wrong date or skipped the field — which meant inaccurate data and birthday workflows firing on the wrong day. The 31st is now in the dropdown, so the dates you collect are correct.

Accept card payments in person in 7 new countries with WooCommerce In-Person Payments

WooCommerce In-Person Payments now works in 7 additional countries: Australia, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Singapore, and New Zealand. That brings the total from 3 countries to 10.

Merchants in any of these countries can accept card-present payments directly through the Woo mobile app (version 24.8) — at a retail counter, a market stall, a pop-up, or an event. Orders, inventory, and payment data all flow through WooCommerce, so there's no second system to reconcile.

The WisePad 3 card reader is required for the 7 new countries — available for purchase now from woocommerce.com. Connect the reader to the Woo mobile app on iOS or Android...

Display shopper prices in their local currency with Adaptive Pricing from Stripe

Selling across borders just got simpler. The Stripe Adaptive Pricing feature automatically displays checkout prices in the shopper's local currency, so international shoppers in over 150 countries see a price they recognize before they pay. The rate is locked through settlement, meaning shoppers pay exactly what they see at checkout. Merchants settle in their base currency as usual.

This is particularly useful for stores that sell internationally but operate in a single currency. Instead of configuring exchange rates or managing multiple currency settings, merchants enable Adaptive Pricing, and Stripe automatically manages the conversion. Because prices are presented in local currency,...

MailPoet 5.28.0: versioned automation analytics, engagement-based flow conditions, and stronger form bot protection

MailPoet 5.28.0 keeps your automation reporting accurate when you edit live flows, lets automations branch on how subscribers engage, and blocks bots from your signup forms.

Keep your automation reporting accurate when you change a flow mid-campaign. When you edit a live automation, your stats no longer get muddied — you can now filter automation analytics by a specific saved version, or aggregate performance across every version of that automation. New runs always use the latest version automatically, so a mid-campaign tweak doesn't quietly skew the numbers you're reporting on.

Build automations that react to how subscribers actually engage. Automation emails...

WooCommerce POS: use a phone as your tablet’s card reader

WooCommerce POS now supports Remote Tap-to-Pay, letting you turn an Android phone into a card reader for your tablet. The two devices talk to each other over your store's Wi-Fi network, so you don't need a separate Bluetooth card reader at every checkout station.

On the phone, open Card Reader Mode under Settings > Payments. The phone shows a 6-digit pairing code. From your tablet, start a card reader connection. The phone appears in the discovered readers list with the same code. Tap to confirm, ring up the sale on the tablet, and the phone prompts the customer to tap...

Stay on top of Square for WooCommerce product sync

Square for WooCommerce 5.3.3 adds a new Woo Admin dashboard notice that alerts you when your WooCommerce product catalog hasn't synced with Square recently, so you can catch issues before they affect inventory.

This release also prevents duplicate Square catalog items when a product SKU already exists, and stops unmatched variations from overwriting unrelated products during sync.Inventory pushes now fall back to SKU-based lookups when a Square variation ID is missing, so stock updates go through even when the connection between products isn't perfect.

Syncs no longer stall on malformed Square catalog data, and removing payment tokens on staging...

MailPoet 5.26.0: segment by product variation and trigger automations the moment someone unsubscribes

MailPoet 5.26.0 lets you target shoppers by the exact product variation they bought and act the moment a contact opts out. The release also adds Cloudflare Turnstile on signup forms and subscriber-limit warning emails.

You can now build dynamic segments around specific product variations — not just the parent product. A customer who bought the "Large / Blue" variant can land in a different campaign than someone who bought "Small / Red," so your follow-ups match what each shopper actually purchased.

Pair that with a new automation that fires the moment someone unsubscribes. Trigger a win-back offer, send a feedback request, or alert...

AutomateWoo 6.4.0 – build sharper automations around subscription switches and billing details, share workflows safely with your team, and keep large stores running fast as your log history grows.

This release also fixes several issues: tracking links now apply to plain-text URLs in emails, not just linked text; manual workflow runs no longer skip or duplicate records that share the same timestamp; duplicate scheduled actions are no longer queued for the same workflow item; and review-based workflows no longer error when comment data is missing.

How to get it

Update to AutomateWoo 6.4.0 from your WooCommerce dashboard. The new trigger, billing variables, view-only access, and automatic log cleanup are available as soon as you update. If you run a very large store (1M+ log rows), run wp automatewoo add-log-indexes...

Review and manage subscription renewal states with the new Subscriptions Health Check

The Subscriptions Health Check tool gives merchants a clear view of subscriptions that may not be renewing as expected — so you can review them and take action from the subscription edit screen.

Find it at WooCommerce > Status > Subscriptions. It runs on a nightly schedule and can be triggered manually at any time. No automatic changes are made to your subscriptions.

The tool surfaces two categories:

Supports auto-renewal — subscriptions currently set to manual renewal where the customer has a saved payment token on a gateway that supports automatic billing. These are the ones most likely to warrant a closer look.
