If you sell in more than one currency with Aelia Currency Switcher, you can now build restriction rules around the currency a shopper has selected. Show a payment gateway only to shoppers paying in euros, or hide a shipping method that doesn’t make sense for orders placed in a given currency.
This release also fixes two issues that could put the wrong options in front of shoppers or undo your setup. When you restrict the Stripe gateway, its Amazon Pay express button is now hidden in the Cart and Checkout blocks too. Before, the button could stay visible even though Stripe was restricted. Importing product restriction rules from a CSV file now keeps conditions set to zero and any custom formatting in your restriction notices, so imported rules match the ones you exported.
Setting up rules takes fewer clicks. The payment gateway and shipping method selectors now have All and None controls, so you can select or clear every option at once. The Product on Subscription condition also explains more clearly how it matches billing periods, which helps when you build rules for subscription products.
How to get it
Update to WooCommerce Conditional Shipping and Payments 3.2.0 in your WooCommerce dashboard. This version requires WordPress 7.0 and WooCommerce 11.1 or later, so update those first if you’re on older versions. To use currency conditions, you’ll need Aelia Currency Switcher active on your store.
