The Payfast extension for WooCommerce enables you to accept payments including subscriptions, deposits, and pre-orders via one of South Africa’s most popular payment gateways.

Payfast gives your customers more flexibility including putting down deposits, ordering ahead of time or paying on a weekly, monthly or annual basis.

Customers can sign up to manage their payments via an easy-to-use payment wallet to pay for your product or service quickly and easily.

When a user elects to pay for their order using Payfast, they are redirected to your merchant account on Payfast where they are requested to login and make the payment. Payfast handles the payments and redirects your visitors back to your website where they can continue browsing through your store.

Great extension/plugin however hasn't been updated since May 2021
This plugin has been great to use and I haven't had any issues until late. These are the last few updates: 1.4.19 – 2021-05-04 Add – support for the Cart and Checkout blocks included Fix – Error notice from direct access to the order id property. 1.4.18 – 2021-02-04 Add fees to order Add signature to the request to PayFast Tweak – WC 4.9.2 compatibility. Tweak – WP 5.6 compatibility. Which means currently it hasn't been tested with the latest version of Wordpress or WooCommerce and we don't know if it's compatible. I'm too nervous to update PayFast in case there are any issues, which is compromising the security of my clients websites. Please can you let me know when the next update and comp...

Great plugin
Used it for a while. Have an issue with order status now though - orders status indicates 'cancelled' even when I've received payment from customer

Exceptionally user friendly
This product most definitely aids in customer retention whilst preventing order abandonment's as it makes the checking out process a breeze
