What is a WooExpert?

A WooExpert is an officially certified agency specializing in WooCommerce, its products, and their implementation. Skills include, but are not limited to, site setup, development, and maintenance. Customers looking to improve or revamp their online store use the program to find the right partner for their needs.

Who is the program aimed at?

The WooExpert Program is for digital agencies whose eCommerce work and client service are consistently high quality. If you are looking to certify your expertise, grow your business, and partner with WooCommerce as we develop, then we want to hear from you.

How do I become a WooExpert?

When applying, interested agencies can expect to provide information about their business, client testimonials, and examples of their work. After an initial screening, we send applications for technical and design reviews. Once the application passes these reviews, we will confirm your acceptance into the program. Will I be listed in the WooExpert marketplace?

Only Silver, Gold, and Platinum tier members qualify for a marketplace profile listing. Verified tier members are not eligible for this placement. Additionally, Silver, Gold, and Platinum WooExperts will have the option to join our Fiverr Certified marketplace.

What are the program’s benefits and tiers?

The WooExpert Program consists of four tiers, each with differing benefits. New members are added to the Verified tier and level up to Silver, Gold, and Platinum as they earn further Woo certifications, hit business milestones, and maintain an excellent level of customer service. What is expected of me as a WooExpert?

Expectations vary based on tier level. We require all members to complete certifications, share, accept, and respond to leads within two (2) business days, and more to maintain and improve their tier status. See our tiers, benefits, and valued activities to learn more.

How do I get a WooExpert badge?

Silver, Gold, and Platinum WooExperts receive badges. Upon progressing to a new tier level, you will receive an updated badge (and guidelines for using it) via the asset library in our WooExpert Portal.

Earning opportunities and discounts

How will I get paid?

WooCommerce does not handle invoicing for WooExperts’ clients or projects – you’ll continue to request and manage payments for these in whichever way is best for your business.

How much will I earn?

Your earnings will vary based on the size and volume of work you take on. The WooExpert Program has no earning caps! Learn more about WooExpert tier benefits.

Do I get an agency discount for being part of the WooExpert Program?

Yes! Agencies receive access to exclusive offers from WooCommerce and our trusted partners.

Education, enablement, and sales tracking

Will I get any tools to help me pitch WooCommerce to my clients?

Yes! As a WooExpert, you will receive access to sales enablement tools and resources, exclusive partner offers, priority support*, a dedicated account manager*, and more.

How do I track performance?

Members can track their performance at any time in the WooExpert Program portal.

What will I learn as a member?

All WooExperts are required to complete our WooCommerce Essentials course. From there, you will have the opportunity to earn additional certifications in subjects like payments, subscriptions, memberships, scaling with WooCommerce, and more.
