If this is really to be used for accommodation bookings then it must have the ability to book nights not days. ie.: end date – start date = nights booked instead of the current: end date – start date +1 = days booked.

Would also like to be able to offer accommodation with blocks that start and finish as a typical hotel room would e.g. an end time or check out time plus buffer that allows me to sell a room twice in one day – so for example, I can sell the unit from 2pm on day one until 11am on day two, then again from 2pm on day two until 11am on day three etc…
Anyone at Woo going to chime in and let us know if this is going to happen and when?
good to see some progress – thanks woo team…. https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-accommodation-bookings/ seems to do this nicely – the only thing missing now is the ability to specify a number of nights to then offer a discount or a supplement.

now this plugin only provide the actual duration units can be Hours, Minutes, Days or Months. I think it should be add the actual duration units can be night for the accommodation booking.
This is really important for us as an accommodation booker. It also means that at the moment if we choose to have a date picker for start and end date it will charge for a duration of 2 days if e.g the start date is 2015/08/09 and the end date is 2015/08/10. In reality it is one night’s stay so means we can’t use that functionality….
I think also the same. As well it would be more simplier to have check in and check out date!
I agree with the rest. We’re working on a car rental theme with this plugin and it’s basically not usable at the moment because of this missing feature. You can change it in the core files, but that means we can no longer claim proper WooCommerce Bookings support for this theme. This feature gets all the possible votes I can give 🙂
This is annoying… I have two type of products: One day tours and bookable rooms. For the one day tour this plugin is perfect, but in the case of the bookable rooms counting days is a problem. I saw in the forum a solution for the nights, but this makes the one day tours cost 0.
This feature gets 3 votes, it’s a basic feature for a great booking system!
I would really appreciate a check-in/check-out functionality built into WooCommerce Bookings. This is a very important function for any hotel-like property that needs to allow bookings to start on the same day a previous booking ends. I would have thought this to be built-in to the tool, but surprisingly no.
Looks like I may have to pay to get this done, unless others have found a solution?

I use it for our yoga centre/ yoga B&B and indeed it should have the function to enable a nights stay as most accommodation is booked this way.. Otherwise its a great booking system that we use for classes, weekend retreats, and events. It seems from the other comments this is overlooked and should be enabled like right now. go for it guys. This is a real problem. Why a booking plugin can not work with nights option. There are several snippets to use but this plugin which cost me USD 250 has no or not often upgrade. This night functionality should already be part of the system.
When do you mean to do something about it?
I will soon have to renew it but i have worried that i may not do.

This plugin is sold as an accommodation selling solution which it plainly isn’t. All hotels/B&B’s/Apartment rentals expect the user to supply check in and checkout dates and users expect to enter the date they arrive and date they leave not the night before.
Will have to look elsewhere for a solution if this is not fixed quickly.

Yes, we desperately need to be able to set it so the room is bookable from say 3pm ? At the moment, when setting bookable product to blocks of 1 day, it is calculating to midnight…. but check out is 10am, so are we supposed to lose every single cross-over days?
I looked through the code and can see lots of references to strtotime( “midnight etc…. if only we could set the start and end time ourselves, this problem would be solved.

Well, a bookings system that doesn’t handle bookings for rooms. This is nothing but insane. Please add the option to count nights!
You still have a demo showing how to use Bookings for hotels, that’s very missleading as Bookings is utterly useless for hotels.
Wonderful booking plugin but absolutely useless for hotel bookings just because it doesn’t allows to book nights and make global search by days. These a two industry standards.
I can’t believe after all the hoo rar about 1.8.2 that this plugin still doesn’t cater for room bookings. I just have a small B&B and bought this plugin – I am so disappointed that it’s still not possible to “easily” have a check in and check out facility with a start time / end time.
I am really confused. I thought this would be fine for room bookings but it shows up as days and not nights. We really need to be able to allow the customer to choose e.g. 2 nights (and woocommerce bookings needs a setting for being able to add a default check out time e.g. 11am).
Is this in the works? Please help!
