Earlier versions were slow to build recommendations on large stores. That was the main complaint about this plugin, and it has been fixed.
- Automatic performance indexes are added to the activity table on update
- One-click background rebuild through Action Scheduler, so wp-admin never blocks while it runs

What it needs to work well
Recommendations are built from real shopper behavior, so the engine needs behavior to learn from.
An established store with steady daily traffic and a reasonable order history produces useful recommendations quickly. A brand-new store with very few orders will not—there is nothing to learn from yet, and recommendations will stay sparse until there is.
On activation the plugin reads your existing order history, so an established store starts with recommendations rather than waiting for new traffic to accumulate.
