the shorcode [product_brand_thumbnails] should have an option to output the NAME of the brand in text.

When outputting a list of all brands onto a page, only having the ability to display thumbnails is too basic.

From an accessibility viewpoint if nothing else having text able to be output (e.g. under the thumbnail) would be a minimum.

You already have a different shortcode that outputs the LIST with text only, and the text, wrapped with the url for the brand, would improve this dramatically, and would be a tiny piece of coding to do.
