But for some reason it doesn’t have a filter for populating the value… it builds a reference out of some bits of order data and I’ve had to hack the plugin code to use the reference we want instead.

Ideally, there would be a configuration allowing to “prefix” the Woocommerce OrderID and populate the Xero Reference field from this.
It would be good if it can populate “Reference” field in Xero invoice from WooCommerce order fields.
