It would be great to set different notifications also on different variations, not only on the whole product itself.
Shouldn’t be too much problem, because every variation has its own product id number.

Because then, you can use only one product with one article number and can set different notificiations on the different variations without duplicate the whole product.

Supporting Advanced Notifications at the product-variation level would be a useful improvement because each variation already has its own product ID, allowing store owners to create specific notifications without duplicating the entire product. ‘+1 – we need this exact functionality too – the ability to set notifications at the variation level.
Also really need this functionality, with different stock levels of different variations, and some variations that are fulfilled by dropshippers, it’s essential to notify the right partner when a product sells, based on which of the 30 or so variations has actually sold.
