Ajax and cart slide function on Variable products

Hi Team, Currently when using block format Single Product or Product page itself, if the products are variable then the ajax does not work. When using on my custom pages made using block and single page element. I can get variable options but when adding to cart the whole page refreshes. No notice of cart slide nor ajax happens which sometimes lead to customer getting confused after adding the product. Thanks
