It would be interesting to have triggers for using this plugin or to create your own add-on.
For me, the advantage of using WooCommerce Automate for back-in-stock notifications is the confirmation of subscription to the back-in-stock notification. This comes from the fact that these are not transactional emails like most of the emails delivered by WooCommerce Automate. In my system, I’ve separated the transactional email address from the WooCommerce Automate email address (non-transactional).
However, the Back in Stock plugin uses emails via WooCommerce, which I don’t think is GDPR compliant.
Perfect. Exactly what I came to recommend. This is super necessary for a "waitlist" functionality added to the wishlist. If it matters, I am using YITH wishlist and would love this functionality.
