can I change the statuses and inform the customer on the timeline?

I own a restaurant, I don’t use a delivery company but I manage them myself, can I change the statuses and inform the customer on the timeline?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Yes, you can change the delivery status and the same would appear on order detail page as delivery timeline. There is no compulsion to add delivery companies.
