Currently, this extension only allows for adding a fee when setting up for pre-order. In my case, I would actually need to give a discount when there is a pre-order.
I would also need two different timers: one during which the pre-order is available, and another marking the days until the product’s release. These two periods are actually quite apart for my product. This would allow my product to be displayed in my shop after the pre-order phase, and before its availability.

Hi vignoblespoitevin,
Both of those make sense — a flat fee only works one direction, and treating the pre-order window and the countdown-to-release as one single timer doesn’t fit every product’s actual timeline.
Smart Pre-Order Manager for WooCommerce lets you apply a discount instead of a fee when a product is on pre-order, and supports separate timers for the pre-order availability period and the countdown to release, so the two phases can run independently.
Happy to help if you have questions about setting it up.
