Coupons cannot be turned off for subscription purchases

You can offer a discounted price to customers who sign up for a subscription vs doing a one time purchase but there is no way to deactivate coupons from being stacked on top of the subscription discount.

It doesn’t make sense to give someone a 15% discount for a subscription and then they can plug in a 10% off coupon code on top of that.

    We noticed that there is a similar request about this, which currently has more votes: Create option to prevent coupons from applying to subscription products/services. To better prioritize requests, we aim to keep 1 request open per feature. That’s why I will close this one. I encourage you to upvote the above request instead.

    I agree! I’d love to see the option to exempt subscriptions from coupon usage.
