Cumulative Payment for Missed Billing Cycles in WooCommerce Subscriptions

Hello,

I’m using WooCommerce Subscriptions and would like to request a feature that allows subscription payments to accumulate when a customer misses one or more renewal payments.

Currently, if a customer fails to pay for one or more months, the system only attempts to retry the last failed payment, without tracking or charging for the full number of missed billing cycles.

This feature would:

Automatically calculate the total amount due based on all missed months (e.g., 3 months × $15 = $45),

Display this total to the customer at checkout or in their account,

Allow them to pay the entire outstanding amount in a single transaction,

Automatically restore their subscription once the full balance is paid.

This would improve transparency for customers and reduce confusion caused by partial payment emails or repeated failed attempts. It would also help businesses maintain accurate accounting of overdue payments without manual intervention.

Please consider adding this to the core WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin or offering it as an official extension.
