Gift Registry Functionality for WooCommerce Wishlists
One awesome addition to the WooCommerce Wishlists extension would be to add the ability to use it as a Gift Registry.
Are you guys considering to add the functionality that when a friend, whom I shared my wishlist with, buys one of the items on my list, that it is flagged as Purchased? And/Or that I receive a notification of this?
This will really be a great addition to this plugin as one can then use it as a Gift Registry, and not just a Wishlist.

Has this been implemented somewhere yet? I need this functionality too! Especially what Mark said.
I agree with this idea. I have the wishlist plugin, and it is okay, but it lacks the functionality to function as a registry efficiently. One, the registry needs to be created from the admin user, not an individual user only. Both options would be great. Two, the quantities should update when an item is purchased. Three, when a purchaser adds an item to their cart, it needs to be added as quantity of one, instead of the entire quantity registered for, which is how wishlists currently works. Another option could be to integrate with wishpot.
The functionality will give the option for users to store purchases they would like, then be able to have others search for the user to purchase what they would like.
