Presently gifted Woo Subscriptions prompt the recipient to create their own account to manage the subscription. If they do not, their delivery information will not populate for future renewal orders in the subscription.
In our experience, most recipients will NOT create their own account. They’ve received the subscription as a gift from someone else, so they are not likely to be inclined to do any additional work on their part. Many will not recognize the email asking them to create an account to begin with.
Presently, the shop keeper has to edit each gifted subscription to make sure a recipient address is populated for renewal orders, otherwise renewals will ship to the original buyer of the subscription, not the person they intended to gift it to.
If recipient addresses could automatically carry over onto the active subscription, this would streamline the process quite a bit.
