I find it absurd that after all this time, WooCommerce has not yet implemented at least a notification in the product permalink section to inform users about the inevitable conflict when using the same base (e.g., /shop/) for both product taxonomies and product permalinks. A simple notification would suffice to avoid confusion and unnecessary troubleshooting in the WooCommerce documentation, saving time and complications for those who are not aware of this detail.
