We have had multiple times when we needed to search for the order that generated a coupon, or the person who ordered it. This is not possible at the moment. It would be great if you could search on the order screen for where a coupon was used and the order associated with its purchase.
An alternative is to, on the coupon view, show the associated order number.

When you’re troubleshooting promo issues, the hard part is often just finding the right order quickly without clicking through lots of records.
One low-effort way to reduce the hunt is to add a visual marker to any order where a coupon was used, so coupon-influenced orders stand out immediately in the orders list.
You can use a Badger rule like “A coupon or discount code was applied to the order” to add coloured badge pills and labels to orders using the OrderBadger plugin, which really helps make them stand out!
