At this moment when a customer pauses its subscription it becomes unwillingly active again by a change in status of the last order. It becomes active when the status of the last order changes from ‘on hold’ to ‘processing’.
This happens because SEPA incasso sometimes takes a couple of days till a week to receive the money. So the customer received their product in the meantime while Mollie (in my case) is still trying to receive the money. I want that it is only possible to change the status of the subscription by the admin or the customer, not automatically by any status change.
For example, a customer orders a product for the 13th. On the 11th the sepa incasso starts trying to receive the money. On the 13th the customer receives the product, dislikes it and pauses the subscription. On the 15th the sepa incasso is finished and woocommerce changes the status of the order to ‘processing’. Besides it changes the subscription status to active as well. I want this last thing to stop from happening.
