I recently needed to hire a developer to write a 2-line piece of code to globally toggle backorders on or off. I would like to see this feature included in a future Woo update.

In my case, we’re doing a big rework of our shop space, and are currently unable to create new product, but we have a large quantity of in-stock product we wanted to continue to sell until the new shop is finished.
