Democratizing commerce makes it accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of experience or technical capability.
The WooCommerce community plays a central role in fulfilling that mission, and so many passionate and talented people around the world are already contributing to the project’s success. To get us there faster and make the most of everyone’s efforts, we’re building new teams to support the WooCommerce community.
To kick things off, we’re looking for 12 volunteers to join us for a 3-month program. We ask for a commitment of up to five hours per week during that period.

This team includes greeters, moderators, responders, and publishers, and its work supports our global communities on platforms like Facebook, Reddit, and Slack. Our global communities are growing fast and we want everyone who joins to feel welcome and have access to the support they need.
This team focuses on supporting our growing meetup program. New organizers around the world are launching meetups in their local communities, which can be challenging. (Meetups are virtual-only for now, while the COVID-19 pandemic is still disrupting in-person gatherings.) The Mentorship team provides guidance and acts as point of contact for new organizers to make sure they have the support they need.
