I saw Bookings for Subscriptions ‘coming’ on the FAQ; Although excited (hoping it arrives soon) there are a couple of things we are hoping to see.
1) The ability to link the re-occurring payment with a booking. Here are some scenarios.
– Training: You purchase a service, but you need training to use it. Once you are trained, the annuity begins.
– Installation: You purchase a service, but it needs to be setup before you can use it. You book an install, and once a technician has set it up, you begin using it (and paying for it).
There are other scenarios.
A related requirement is a ‘mandatory booking’
a) Must have a booking to use a service. Possibly have a reminder if you are allowed to skip the ‘install booking’ during the checkout.

Has bookings really only been out a few months?! I fully expected bookings to explode like woo commerce did. I absolutely LOATH every online booking software solution out there… and it wouldn’t be difficult for Woothemes to meet and surpass the best of them within a year if they prioritized Bookings they way they did Woocommerce when it came out. You can do this guys! And when you do, please also make a plugin that puts Signpost out of business. They’re #94 in the Forbes top 100 for providing a manual service that a wordpress plugin could easily handle for $70 to $150 instead of a twice yearly charge of like $1200 or something. Basically it automatically emails customers after their appointment happened asking if they liked it. If so they’re directed to leave a review on a review site, and if not they are directed to leave feedback directly to the business.
