When a user who already have a subscription of a specific length, it should be possible for that user to pay for pro-longing that subscription, rather than buying a second subscription. So any payments should go to extending the current subscription, rather than adding a new subscription.
This is especially important for websites that have manual renewal of memberships (and not automatic renewals). Let’s say a person is subscribing for 12 month, and then wants to manually renew his subscription in advance of expiration. He therefore renews manually when there are three weeks left of the initial yearly sub. You then want the subscriber to have the new 12 months added to the end of the existing subscription. If not, the client “loses” three weeks, when the subscriptions are overlapping.
This is important functionality – please hope you can implement it!
