It would be nice to have a coupon that works the same as Recurring Product Discount as a $ amount discount to selected products (or all products), but instead of applying to each product in the subscription, the discount amount only applied once to the subscription cart.
For example, user has the following subscription
Product A ($4) x 1 = $4.00
Product B ($3) x 2 = $6.00
Subscription subtotal = $10.00
Recurring Cart Coupon = ($8.00)
Subscription total = $2.00
And then $2 would be charged at the next order creation.
Recurring Product Discount works very similar to this, but I believe I need to know what products are in the subscription in order to apply this. And I would like to be able to apply it dynamically without knowing what products are in the subscription.
