Hello Woo Team,
Can the following requirement be implemented?
When you click on the “Buy now” button in the checkout, the redirect to the payment service provider should open in a new tab (_blank).
The previous checkout page should simply remain open. After successful payment, the redirection back to the store is executed in the new tab.
What would also be possible to open the redirection to the payment service provider in a popup window.
All other store systems, except WooCommerce can do this.
The use case is simply this. I have a special, foreign payment provider here, which offers 10 variants (Sofort, SEPA, credit card, etc.).
Often users come, and try different variants first. For someone who has never made a SOFORT-Banking, it may be dubious in a x-any store to enter his bank details.
So he breaks but because he wants to change the payment method. Abort means, however, in many cases that the tab / page is closed, and then the customer is gone – not converted.
Ideas for the implementation?
